Happy New Year from Emerging Cleveland!

The 2007 Holiday Tours were a great success with nearly 50 people joining us to see some of the newest and best things happening in neighborhoods throughout Cleveland, from Detroit-Shoreway on the West, AsiaTown on the East, Slavic Village in the South and several neighborhoods in between. We'd like to thank everyone who came on the tours and all of the local contacts who met with us on Dec. 26 and 27.

We're looking forward to a great Cleveland in 2008 and wish you a Happy New Year!

What do you love about Cleveland in 2008?

I'm a transplant to Cleveland. I originally hale from the Deep South and have lived in Cleveland since Feb. 2001. I very much enjoy the ethnic diversity that can be found in Cleveland. The architecture - particularly the churches and bridges - is fantastic eye candy. There is always plenty to do and see in Cleveland and the surrounding area.

It's easy to be critical but I believe that if you aren't part of the solution, then you're part of the problem! If you don't like it - for goodness sake - DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT AND STOP YOUR WHINING.
